Thank you for your interest in our Second Tracks program! Registration for Winter 2025 Session 2 is now closed. We’re excited to announce that registration for our 2026 dates will open on November 1, 2025. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors and partners for making our inaugural Winter 2025 season a resounding success. We look forward to welcoming you next year!
Through a collaborative partnership between the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka, North Shore Ltd., and Blue
Mountain. This program aims to open the slopes to youth who may not have had the chance to experience winter activities like skiing and snowboarding, fostering new opportunities and unforgettable
experiences.
Experience the thrill of night skiing/snowboarding under the lights at Blue Mountain this winter. As part
of the Second Tracks Program, participants will enjoy the following benefits completely free of charge:

After determining eligibility, please click the “Register Participant” button below. You will be directed away from this site to complete the YMCA Registration Form.
For this introductory 2025 season, we offer two sessions, each lasting four consecutive weeks and allowing up to 50 participants.

As part of our program, we are accepting gently used winter sports equipment. After an evaluation, donations may be eligible for a Charitable Tax receipt, which will be issued by the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka.

Equipment drop off is at North Shore Ltd. 25 Sandford Fleming Drive, Collingwood, ON
If you would like to support the program through a financial donation, click the Donate button below. A charitable tax receipt will be provided at the time of donations. Scroll to the Designation section at the bottom and choose Second Tracks Program.
On Monday, January 6, 2025 at 6pm our group of parents, youth, and volunteers will meet for the orientation session to review program information and answer any questions. Winter clothing will be distributed at this time.
Location: Collingwood YMCA - Later Pizza will be serve up slices for dinner. 6 pm start
The first ski date! The Collingwood Blues bus will leave the YMCA at 4:00 pm sharp, with an in-town pick up, dinner at hill and return from Blue at 8pm.
The first 10 registrations will receive a new pair of high-performance leather gloves from Swany Canada!
We love where we live, and are constantly grateful to ski, snowboard, and have fun at Blue Mountain. We want to share the opportunity to ski and snowboard with our community.
